so ive been asked by so many people why i have blue hair i usually just tell them because i like it (which is true) but i say that short thing because the other reasons would take too long to explain
**the three main reasons why my hair is blue are:**
first off, i love my hair its one of those things that i obsess over if your hair looks bad, you look bad i, luckily, can do almost anything with it and still have it look good so going an unnatural color wasnt a big deal for me if it looked bad, i could always dye it something else no. big. deal. so i went purple (manic panic ultra-violet) then green (manic panic electric lizard) then blue (manic panic bad boy blue) then white with some of the blue still in it then pink/red (manic panic pillarbox red) then i went back to normal colors like brown and blonde but for some reason, i just didnt not feel like my normal self then so then i went with blue/turquoise (manic panic atomic turquoise) [same color raquel reed had for a while] and fell in love and i have found my hair color soul mate for now at least <3
secondly i want people to realize that looking differently isnt bad i still dress normally and wear jeans and a somewhat baggy tshirt and act super polite but most people still look at me as if i am the devil because i look slightly different so when i hold the door open for them or do some other little act of kindness it brings me joy to see their faces when they realize that they were wrong to judge me in the first place i get even more joy when i see the gears in their head start rolling and they realize that looking different isnt bad and that the color of your skin or hair doesnt determine who you are as a person
third, it weeds out the people who do judge me based on looks alone if you look at me and stick up your nose, i dont need to be your friend it weeds out the people who arent worth my time because they judge me too early
so that is why my hair is blue. most people tend to love it actually i know i do <3
